Dear Member,

As you know, 2008 is an exciting year in Beijing and for the Club due to the Olympics being only 5 months away. To date, we have received many reservation requests for private rooms during this period. Most members require the club facilities for entertaining corporate delegations, business entertainment, visiting families and friends. As always, we pride ourselves in being the only exclusive Members' Club in Beijing; therefore we have turn down the numerous non Member requests which we have received in the past year and will remain a members only Club for the entire duration of the Olympics.

To ensure we provide all members with an equal and fair chance to access the Capital Club's private rooms from August 9th to 24th, the Club has come up with a deposit system to guarantee reservations. The deposits listed on the attached document will be billed to you when you reserve a Club Room and will serve as a credit towards your consumption on the day reserved.

A cancellation policy will be in effect for this period to safeguard against overbooking and last minute cancellations.

After we accept your reservation, you will receive a fax within 2 working days with the bill. Payment is required to be made within 7 days from the date of the bill being faxed. If we don't receive your payment 10 days after your reservation has been approved and fax sent, we will proceed to cancel your booking. In the event that you cancel your reservation within 3 months prior to August 8th or anytime after May 8th, you may chose to receive the portion of the deposit to be reimbursed as either cash or as credit to your Club account for you to use at your own convenience. In case of a cancellation, please state which option for reimbursement you would prefer.

We apologize for the "commercial" approach of this reservation procedure; however it will be used only to ensure that the Capital Club continues to provide all Members with the same opportunities to enjoy and entertain their guests in the newly decorated private rooms which are sure to impress any visitors to Beijing during this special time.

No room reservations will be accepted on the Friday, August 8th as the Club is planning an Olympic Games Opening Party for Members and guests to view the fireworks at the "Birds Nest" and share in the truly International Olympic Games Spirit.

For reservations during the specified period, please fill in your contact details on the Private Rooms Reservations Form on the back of this page and return by fax to the Capital Club Catering Department.
